Laura Anderson-Brick – aka “Squeezy” – was subjected to accordion lessons as a child, but nevertheless became an enthusiast! Growing up in the Seaway Valley, Laura played with a local band that performed at legions and dance halls. Coming to the Limestone city in 1991 with the Canadian Forces, she has been playing the local music scene ever since. Laura has a very diverse musical background, and her electric accordion is the centerpiece of our sound.
Wayne Sweet – lead and back up vocals, bass. Wayne has been active in the music scene for many years. He has enjoyed all aspects of the the business with highlights including a recording contract, world tour and sharing the stage with some famous musicians!
John Gamache grew up in Hamilton and came to Kingston in 1988. Within 48 hours he had already joined a band and was gigging in Harrowsmith! Since then he has been a mainstay of the local music scene. A big fan of Tex-Mex, Rockabilly and Americana music and guitar playing, John is also a masterful guitar tech and “repair man to the Stars”.
Ron Reedy was born and raised in Canada’s Wild West, where his musical journey began with guitar, piano, sax and clarinet. His true passion was percussion, which led to a musical career in the Canadian Forces performing at a multitude of events across the globe. Now retired from the Forces, when Ron is not exhausted from being walked by his dog, he pursues his love of drumming and brings his ample skill set to Back Swing.
